First we want to thank you for supporting our 5th Putting for Parkinson’s Event!
We have been working hard to put together an event that you will enjoy and want to come back to next year. If you have paid for them, we put Dinner and Auction Tickets in the mail today. Please make sure to bring your ticket(s) with you to limit any confusion when you arrive. As a golfer, you do not need a ticket since you will come straight from the course. Please don’t forget to call Debbie and pay if you haven’t done so already. For our golfers, I want to remind you of several options you have the day of the tournament. As noted in the Information Packet, you will have the option to purchase a Golfer Package (2 Mulligans, 1 Hole-in-One Entry, and 1 Raffle ticket) for a $20 donation or a Junior Golf Package (1 Mulligan and 1 Raffle ticket) for a $10 donation, and a Hole-in-One Entry for a $5 donation. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased with donations of $5 for one or $20 for 5. We have some great raffle prizes again this year, including a Kindle Fire and an Orion Grill! We also will have Dixon Golf (http://www.dixongolf.com/) on one of the Par 3’s with their Dixon Golf Experience. For $10 (cash at the hole), you can participate in their Dixon Golf Challenge using one of their eco-friendly golf balls. Just for participating in the challenge, they will give you hundreds of dollars worth of prizes, and if you hit their ball onto the green, you get a sleeve of their eco-friendly balls! The added benefit for our event is that we will get a portion of the $10 participation fee. For our Dinner and Auction Guests. Don’t forget to bring your wallets to bid on the great items we have for our auction. We have restaurant gift certificates, tickets to local sporting events, artwork, trips, and more. We have items for everyone with low starting bids on up to starting bids in the thousands! Remember, we do take credit cards! Also, in case you missed it above, raffle tickets can be purchased with donations of $5 for one or $20 for 5. We have some great raffle prizes again this year, including a Kindle Fire and an Orion Grill! Again, thank you for supporting our event and the research being done on Parkinson’s at The Murray Center at MUSC! One last reminder, for everything mentioned above (except the Dixon Golf which is cash only at the hole), we will accept cash, check, and/or credit cards (MC, Visa, Amex) on Saturday. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you Saturday!

We are now a month away from our 5th event!! We are truly honored by all the support we have already seen. We have currently have some great sponsors and hear a few more are on the way! You can find out about our different sponsorship opportunties on the Information page. Thank you!!
We have also been pleased with the number of golfers that have already turned in their golfer information forms and money! Again, thank you! We've got some great items for you in the Golfer Goodie Bag this year. We still have room for golfers. If you plan on golfing, please get your forms in as soon as possible. We want to see your smiling face having fun on the 27th!! The Auction looks like it is going to have some wonderful items, but we can use more. Please let us know if you would like to donate to our auction. Also, we are going to have some bigger items (like trips) availble that will have higher minimum bids. So remember to bring your cash, checks, and credit cards. We take them all! And like all parties, make sure you let us know if you plan on attending the dinner. We want to make sure we have plenty of food for all. Again, Thank You for your continued support, and we look forward to making this year our best year yet! Our plans for the 5th Annual Event are coming along nicely! We are excited about all the support we are already seeing. We already have 4 sponsors and look forward to increasing this number over the next couple of weeks! We have given our information packet and forms a facelift. Check them out!
For all of you golfers, get your teams together and your forms turned in quickly. It looks like the golfer spots are going to fill up quickly and we want you to be able to participate! We also are in need of amazing auction and raffle items. If you know someone or you are able to donate to our auction and raffle, please let us know! We want everyone that wants to, to be able to particpate in this year's event. Let us know how we can help you make that happen!! Happy New Year! I hope your year is off and running with you being able to keep your new year's resolutions! If you resolved to be more involved with your community, to give back, and/or to be more philanthropic, then Putting for Parkinson's is ready to help you keep your resolution!! We are looking for businesses and individuals to help sponsor, donate to (including items for the auction and raffle), and support our event coming up on April 27th. This year marks special anniversaries for both Coach Touchberry and our event. For Coach Touchberry, it was 10 years ago in 2003 that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, and this year marks our 5th year of raising money to help fund research that is being done right in the Lowcountry at the Murray Center of MUSC! With your help, we have been able to raise more money with each succeeding year and hope to continue that tradition! Please let us know how we can help you be part of this year's event!
We are starting to accept sponsorships, donations for the auction, golfers and more for our 2013 Event!! Please let us know if you have any questions and please spread the word about this event and our cause!!
